GENERAL POLICIES

D’D Facilities:  For safety reasons while on D’D property do not approach any fence without consent or presence of a D’D Pet employee.  Please have your dog on a leash or in an approved carrying crate when on the property (including the parking area).  Should there be an incident where injury or property damage occurs, neither D’D, nor any of its staff members will be held responsible. Any claims made will be the sole responsibility and liability of the owner/guardian of the pet(s) in question.

Behavior:  Any pet is welcome at D’D, however all dogs must be non-aggressive.  Owners will need to certify that their dog has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behavior towards any person or another dog.  When your dog visits the outdoor play areas he/she will be in contact with many other types of dogs and the health and safety of our animals is our main concern.  Play areas will be supervised, however much like a dog park, acts of aggression can happen very quickly and without warning.  If your dog does have an incident that D’D deems unacceptable we reserve the right to remove your pet to its own separate area for safety reasons until your arrival.  D’D reserves the right to refuse service and permanently remove your pet without explanation.  D’D may refuse the use of its facilities if a pet is unhealthy, acts aggressively, is undisciplined, or displays behaviour that may be considered dangerous to themselves, other animals or employees.

Escape:  D’D will take all reasonable precautions to ensure that pets cannot escape.  If a pet does escape D’D will make every attempt to capture the animal.  In the event a pet cannot be captured and becomes lost I will not hold D’D liable.

Death/Serious Injury:  D’D prides itself on the care and safety of your pet.  In the unlikely event that my pet suffers a serious injury or dies while in the care of D’D, I will not hold D’D liable.

Health:  All dogs must be in good health.  If your pet is not feeling well (i.e. - vomiting or diarrhea) please do not bring him/her to the facility as other guests may become ill as well.  Owners are required to certify that their pet is in good health and has not been ill with a communicable condition or otherwise in the last 30 days prior to the visit to D’D.  Pets that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will not be accepted until they have recovered from the condition.
